We had an hour or so out thisarvo, it was lovely in the sun, but when when the sun moved round...boy, it was fresh!

The water temperature was well down, had one hell of a job keeping the Neptune running level whilst submerged, but it was a good hour out, well worth going.

Neptune fully surfaced, waiting on the diving officer to issue commands...

Hope to get ORP Dzik in the pond on Sunday.

It is the Barrow in Furness MBC AGM and I have some new things in Dzik to try (Sorted speed controllers, a new PIC based low voltage alarm and the NEW directional Pinger transponder.)

No photos or videos possible - the other half is away on holiday with the camera!

Aha...whilst the cat's away, the mice go sail submarines!

    Good luck for Sunday...

    Indeed!
Trouble is it is blowing a gale here at the moment. Maybe it will have calmed down a bit by tomorrow.
One good thing about model subs though is that bad weather rarely stops play.

Well got there today and sailed the Dzik. (Despite our Chairman trying to sabotage my attempts by phoning me up yesterday and allowing me to chat for hours! Yesterday evening was spent cramming the innards into the sub and making Christmas puddings. Careful not to mix the two.)

ORP Dzik performed nicely on a very rough lake. I was interested to see that the spray deflectors on the front of the conning tower worked just like the full size ones.

BTW Richard on logging on I realised that I may have clicked on the wrong log in bit on the website and I may have inadvertently ordered a Russian Bride. I hope the other half is understanding when she gets back! (The courier may deliver a lumpy parcel on Monday.)
