I've been thinking of building an r/c shark fin for a long time, so as I was feeling reaonably healthy today, I've made a start on it.
The shark's body is the top section of an old MMB(Mark's Model Bits)SubSonic sub, with the fin made from styrene sheet and simply glued into a slot cut and filed into the little sail on the deck.
The radio will be going into an ordinary wtc fixed under the deck, probably just velcroed into position. I'll be fitting a small lead bulb keel to keep the fin upright, but that's for later on.
It's being built just for a bit of fun sailing really, maybe I'll take it to a show for the kids to play with.

And before my old mate Andy(tattooed)pulls me to one side....yes mate, I did wear my mask whilst I was drilling and filing.
