Cant understand why people would want to put their lives at risk in the climate that exists in America at this time with home land defence enforcement jumping on anything or anybody that says boo, also do's the guy not realise that he puts the rescue service personal at risk if they have to turn out to rescue him if something go's wrong with his "Submarine". Nice bit of a history lesson though about the turtle.

I guess they had plenty of their own back up people on site Mark...brave bloke though, I wouldn't have gone underwater in that thing, not for a million quid I wouldn't.

HHHmmm own backup crew-: "The Associated Press reported. Two men from Rhode Island, who were artistic accomplices of Mr. Riley’s and were in an inflatable boat next to the submarine, were taken in for questioning, along with Mr. Riley." so they tie the sub off to the inflatable then if the sub sinks its ok ha ha ha. it seems they didn't do a risk assessment method statement bet they didn't have third party public liability insurance either who would have paid for the damaged paint on the QM2 if they had bumped it in their little sub and rubber rescue dingy lol
