Following recent discussions between the AMS and the Chairman of the Norwich Model Boat club regarding the submarine/warship day to be held on the 25th of September 2011, and future events of a joint submarine/warship nature, it has been agreed that the event to be held on the 25th of September will go ahead as planned as it would be impractical to change the date of this event, but the good news is the pool will be divided in half to prevent submarines and warships comming into contact with each other, this should work very well given the size of the pool, and the fact that nearly all the warships are now on 2.4 ghz.
It was also agreed that the submarine only days will be reinstated for next year.
My thanks to the Norwich chairman for listening to and acting on our concerns regarding joint meetings.
Please attend these meetings if you possibly can to show our support for these first rate events, these meetings are open to all just show up and sail.
Regards,
Nigel.
Chairman AMS.
The events will take place at Eaton Park, South Park Avenue, Norfolk, Norwich NR4 7AX
