    Model boats Feb 2011 had an article on steerable rudders using bevel gears by Glynn Guest (see first sketch below)

    Has Anyone tried this on a submarine as either a rudder or even a powered Hydroplane?

    Imagine two powered hydroplanes on an mixer, doing barrel rolls - the mind boggles

    Sketch 2 is a development of the original. Food for thought?.
