    Guys I have gutted the innards if my s type and I am looking to set a system up as Paul Cooks HMS Satyr in the simply model submarines book, I understand how it all fits together apart from one item, the servo that operates the switch on the compressor, if the radio receiver is in the rear water tight compartment how can the switch servo connect to the rc? Any help folks

    For those that haven't seen the reply on Facebook.

    Paul uses 2 tubes between the compartments - one for signal connections and one for power.

    By the way, Dave J has used two separate radio receivers on the same frequency for this type of situation. Rather neat also.

    Sounds a bit thin to me but I haven't used flat hatches for some time.

    Watch out for Perpsex cracking. Polycarbonate sheet is tougher but slightly more flexible.
