Unfortunately, not for submarines. I am guessing they are using the 802.11 standard frequencies that are not going to go beneath the water. For surface craft this is cool!

I'm told the frequency is just short of the 2.4gHz band...as you say, Tom, not a lot of good to model submarines. Seeing as how I don't own any surface boats, it's not a lot of good to me either...
