I thought it woudl be no problem getting these, with the very cheap price of 2.4 now, but nothing arouns, its all 2ch stuff, so I need a no fuss cheap 3 ch or more tx and rx, 3 rd channel on sticks please, if anyone has such a thing for my first upcoming sub project

This is a growing problem.
One of our members Clive T let me know that these people still have stocks of 6 channel 40 MHz sets.

Try also contacting Paul C on our Facebook site. (He is very well up on new equipment since he runs a model shop.)
After that is into second hand and there does not seem to be much around.
(I was recently given an old 27Mhz 4 channel set and I have tucked it away carefully. I suspect that is what is going on - we are hoarding!)

yes them seem to be geting rare, the amount I gave away over the last few yesrs thinking I would never need again, very luckily, I have tonight been offered a futaba 6ch tx and a compatable 4ch rx for £30 from a member of a boat club I am in, so fingers crossed, I am good to go!
