I found these on the hard drive of my back up pc, they may be of interest to someone...assembly instructions for the Dumas (I think?) USS Bluefish kit.

Re: USS Bluefish
Hi Richard
I have just become the owner of a hull and fittings of a (I think) 1/96 scale shipyards USS Sturgeon sub. I dont have a set of plans and cant find anyone who sells them, is the Bluefish a Sturgeon class or a different class of sub?

Unfortunately, the admin that owned these originally is no longer around. When I became the administrator, all of his postings were adopted by my login. Maybe someone else may have paper plans?Calvin wrote:I have been looking for these plans for a while could I please have a set emailed to me? I have the model just no plans with it.

Dumas is very good at responding to inquiries about missing parts and plans for their kits.

Re: USS Bluefish
After Revell released the 1/72 Gato sub, this never popped up again.
I have the sub years ago, could try to post the plan.
What I remember, the hull half are miss matched, lightly sand the in side the hull half, start from stern tack it down with CA move your way up to the bow. Then epoxy the tape down the seam.
As per instruction for the lit by using petroleum jelly and rubber band hope for a watertight seal as a joke.
You need to build some types of wtc to get it working.
Or something looks like this.
