I work in copper and brass and can use a torch.
The hull dimensions will be 1/8th scale 52-1/2" length X 6" diameter.
I plan to use copper sheets for the mid section. I may use copper tube for the conical sections and swedge them into a taper. I can also metal spin annealed copper blanks on my lathe . I can apply brass rivets.
The last 3" of the conical hull can be machined out of solid brass stock. This will allow me to press fit a bearing for the prop shaft.
I plan to use a bajonet on the rear conical section to mate up with the mid hull section with the WTC fixed to the rear conical section of the hull.
Any ideas from you would be helpful.
