Just received my piston cylinder from Donald (RC Sub Workshop) I'm really looking forward to experimenting with this and  impressed with the build quality. Has anyone used one of these?

Once I get round to using this I'll post a reveiw, it's turning out to be a busy building season !!!!

I am looking forward to what you find! It looks like a nice unit.

Looks like a very nice piece of kit. I particularty like the microswitch arrangements.

Does it use an O ring piston seal or a lip type - both seem to be commonly used?

Excellent looking tank, Love those chunky diodes.

What is the purpose of the 8 end cap holes?

I assume the Gear reduction is internal, that would be very interesting to see

if(when) you take the covers off.

The piston seal is an O ring.

As far as I am aware the 8 holes are just for mounting the tank in the WTC. The gear reduction is external and can just be seen between the end cap and motor.
